The Kuyper College Men's Soccer team has notched three wins in a row, as they defeated the Jets of Jackson College today by a score of 6-0. The 6 goals ties a season-high for goals in a match for the Cougars.Â
Kuyper built a quick 2-0 lead behind goals from
Christian Bartee and
Blessing Tarpeh. Later in the match,
Christian Bartee scored again to extend Kuyper's lead to 3-0 going into the half-time break.
Johnson Bondo scored two goals for Kuyper in the second half, and
Isaac Neekpo scored Kuyper's final goal of the match.
Hugo Freitas dos Santos had a career-high 3 assists on the day.
Xavier Hernandez also had an assist for Kuyper.Â
Ian Ramirez finished the game with 3 saves, leading to another shut-out. This was Ramirez's third shutout of the year. Kuyper got excellent defensive effort from
