The Kuyper College Developmental Gold team lost their season opener on Wednesday by a score of 58-90 to Grace College. The game took place on the campus of Grace College in Winona Lake, Indiana. This was the first developmental/JV basketball game in the history of Kuyper College, as Kuyper College did not have a JV program back when they had athletics in from 2007-2015. 

The Cougars were led in scoring by freshman Aaron Wilson with 18 points. Wilson also had 4 steals on the night. Darrion Ransom and Sebastian Connor added 14 points and 12 points to the Cougars' effort. Sebastian Connor led Kuyper with 8 rebounds in the game. 

With the loss, the Developmental Gold team moves to 0-1 on the season. The Cougars return to action on November 8th with a game at Glen Oaks Community College.
