The Kuyper College Volleyball team lost a tough, competitive five-set match at Appalachian Bible College this weekend (Mount Hope, WV).Â
The Cougars started the match off strong, by winning the first set 29-27. After losing the second set, the Cougars were able to get back in the winning column by winning the third set. Unfortuantely, the Cougars were unable to close out the match, as they dropped the last two sets of the match.Â
Kuyper was led in kills by
Addisyn Headworth, who had 13 kills.
Kelsey Quiggin added 8 kills to the Cougars' effort.
Angelita Ledesma had a season-high 26 assists on the day.
Jada Munro led the Cougars with 20 digs, which is also her season-high.
Aniya Fisher added 13 digs to the effort.
With the loss, the Cougars move to 3-12 on the season and 3-3 in the NCCAA. The Cougars return to action on Tuesday, October 10th, where they will travel to Adrian College to take on the Bulldogs.
