The Kuyper College Developmental - Purple team lost at Hope College on Thursday night by a score of 56-86. The Cougars were ice cold from the three point line on Thursday, making it tough to hang around in the game. Kuyper shot just 2/19 from 3. They also were only able to convert on a bit over 30% of their shots from the field. Hope's defense proved to be very stifling for the Cougars. 

Kuyper was led in scoring by Terrance Murphy, who had 19 points on the evening. Javrius Gordon notched his second double-double of the year, as he finished with 15 points and 12 rebounds. Rylee Carter poured in 14 points. JT Foster finished the night with 8 rebounds.

This loss moves the Cougars to 1-2 on the season, but they return to action at home on Saturday vs. Dayspring Bible College at 1:00pm ET.
