The Kuyper College Developmental - Gold team earned their first win of the season on Friday at Faith Baptist Bible College. Despite this being the first win of the year for Developmental - Gold, they have played pretty good basketball. This team has played a challenging schedule, and it was rewarding to earn their first win of the year. The Cougars defeated Faith Baptist Bible College by a score of 81-72 on Friday afternoon. 

Kuyper was led in scoring by Dior Partee, who finished with 21 points and 7 rebounds. He was 3/8 from 3. Nic Yorke had an efficient 16 points (6-8 FG) and 6 rebounds. Gregory Thomas III added in 15 points. Ashtyn Simerson and Darrion Ransom each notched double-figures as well. Ransom led the Cougars with 8 rebounds as well. 

Kuyper's defense was huge in the win, as they turned Faith Baptist over 24 times. This defensive charge was led by Gregory Thomas III, who had an outstanding 11 steals on the game. 

Developmental - Gold moves to 1-3 on the year. They travel to Calvin University on 11/20 to take on the Knights.
