The Kuyper College Developmental - Purple team defeated Faith Baptist Bible College on Friday afternoon by a score of 81-58. The Developmental-Purple team traveled to Iowa with the Men's Basketball and Women's Basketball teams for a weekend full of Kuyper hoops. The Developmental - Purple team was able to defeat the Eagles of Faith Baptist Bible after a dominant second half performance.

The Cougars shot an impressive 46.1% from the field over the course of the game, while holding the Eagles to just 34.0%. Kuyper's offensive charge was led by Rylee Carter and Terrance Murphy. Carter finished with 19 points, while Murphy added 16 points. Murphy also had 8 assists to go along with his 16 points. Charrone Gordon had a monster double-double for the Cougars, as he finished with 10 points and 16 rebounds. 

The Developmental - Purple team moved to 4-3 on the season after the win. The Cougars have a big home game on Friday, where they will host Grace Christian University at 3:00pm ET.
