Kuyper Hires Kregel as New Assistant Athletic Director and Sports Information Director

Kuyper College is pleased to announce the hiring of Adam Kregel as the institution's Assistant Athletic Director and Sports Information Director. This position will play a key role in helping develop and sustain the revamping of Kuyper College Athletics. 

Kregel will work closely with Athletic Director and Head Men's Basketball Coach, Gary Bailey, in this role. Kregel is familiar with the National Christian Collegiate Athletic Association (NCCAA), as he played four years of college basketball under Coach Bailey at Grace Christian University from 2016-2020. During his playing career, Kregel won three Mideast Regional Championships, as well as the 2019 NCCAA National Championship. Additionally, he was awarded the prestigious honor of the Pete Maravich Award by the NCCAA. According to the NCCAA, the purpose of the Pete Maravich Award is "is to recognize the outstanding NCCAA student-athlete in Men's Basketball and highlights excellence in competition, skill, academics, and Christian service during his career."

Kregel brings meaningful experience and passion to Kuyper College and the institution's athletics department. Kregel previously worked at Kenowa Hills in a Youth Sports Coordinator position, and he also completed a student internship at Grace Christian University, where he was an Intern to the Athletic Director. 

"We are so happy to have Adam working with us at Kuyper College," said Athletic Director Gary Bailey. "Adam comes to us with a lot of experience working with social media, statistics, and multimedia. He will take us to the next level with his work as the Sports Information Director."

Women's Volleyball has a match at Judson University on Saturday, August 19th. This will mark the return of Kuyper College Athletics.
