The Cougar Volleyball team battled hard tonight in a loss at Concordia University. Kuyper was defeated 3-0 in the match. 

Kelsey Quiggin led the Cougars with 4 kills on the night, while also contributing 5 digs. Angelita Ledesma finished the night with 8 assists, as well as 2 service aces. 

"We played another tough team," Coach Tori Johnston said. Johnston added, "We struggled to put the ball away and capitalize on keeping momentum on our side. I'm excited to continue to see our ladies improve on these things this weekend."

Tonight's loss moves the Cougars to 0-3 on the season, but as Coach Johnston mentioned, they will not need to wait long to improve on tonight's match. 

The Cougars will look to bounce back and protect home court this weekend. Kuyper hosts Moody Bible Institute on Friday (8/25) at 7:00pm. This is the team's home opener. Additionally, Kuyper hosts Moody Bible Institute and Dayspring Bible College in a tri-match on Saturday (8/26), where they will play Moody Bible Institute at 10:00am and Dayspring Bible College at 2:00pm.
