The Cougars finished their weekend road trip with another 3-1 victory over Moody Bible Institute earlier today. The Cougars played two matches against the Archers this weekend, one on Friday, and one on Saturday. 

Both matches resulted in a 3-1 victory for the Kuyper College Cougars. On Friday, the Cougars lost the first set of the match, but were able to bounce back and win the following three sets to defeat Moody Bible. On Saturday, the Cougars were able to take control of the match early, by winning the first two sets. That being said, Moody Bible countered the great start for the Cougars with a set win of their own. In the fourth set, the Cougars were able to earn a narrow victory, by a score of 27-25. 

Addisyn Headworth led the Cougars with 8 kills on the weekend. Angelita Ledesma added 7 assists between the two matches. Throughout the weekend, the Cougars had 16 service aces.

With the weekend sweep, Kuyper improves to 3-4 on the season (3-1 in NCCAA II). Kuyper returns to action next Saturday (September 9th), where they head on the road to the University of Michigan-Dearborn. The match will begin at 3:00pm ET.
