The Kuyper College Developmental - Purple team lost a tough road test on Tuesday at Kalamazoo Valley Community College. The final score was 63-111. This was the first game of the second semester for the Kuyper College Developmental Basketball program.Â
Kuyper struggled to get going offensively on Tuesday, making it tough to keep up with the high-powered attack of KVCC. KVCC shot 58% from the field, and they did a great job capitalizing on the Cougars' 14 turnovers.Â
Kuyper was led in scoring by guard
Rylee Carter. Carter finished the game with 23 points and 4 rebounds.
Damon Jackson added 13 points on 5/7 shooting from the field.
Terrance Murphy finished with 12 points.Â
The Developmental - Purple team moves to 5-8 on the season. They return to action on January 18th, where they will host Grace Christian University.Â
