The Kuyper College Developmental - Black team lost on Monday night to the Cornerstone University JV team by a score of 52-72. At the half, the Cougars were down 9, and they lost the second half by 11, leading to the 20 point loss. Kuyper's defense was effective throughout the night, as they held Cornerstone to 36.8% from the field and 21.1% from three. However, Kuyper's offense could not capitalize off of their defensive stops, as they shot 35.6% from the field and 24.0% from three on the evening. 

Kevin Tobe led the Cougars with 15 points and 6 rebounds on the night. Ashtyn Simerson added 14 points and 4 rebounds to the Cougars' effort. Dior Partee also reached double-digits, as he finished with 11. Zamire Jackson, Kevon Hess, and Gregory Thomas III each had 6 rebounds.
