The Kuyper College Men's Soccer program traveled to Grand Rapids Community College on Tuesday afternoon for a road matchup with the Raiders. Kuyper was coming off a big Regional win over Great Lakes Christian College last week, but the Cougars were unable to extend their win streak. The Cougars lost to the Raiders by a score of 2-0. 

The match was a competitive match, but Kuyper was unable to capitalize on scoring opportunities, while GRCC did. Kuyper finished the match with 16 shots, while GRCC logged 18 shots. GRCC took a 1-0 lead late in the first half. Their lead stayed at 1 goal for much of the match, but GRCC extended their lead to 2 goals in the 71st minute. 

Kuyper was unable to cut into GRCC's lead, resulting in a 2-0 loss for the Cougars. Kuyper moves to 2-8-1 on the year. They will travel to Ohio Christian University for a road match on Thursday. The match will begin at 3:30pm.
