Kuyper College JV - Gold opened their season on Thursday, November 7th, at Bethel University in Mishawaka, Indiana. The Cougars fell to the Pilots by a score of 86-82. 

The game was a highly competitive game with both teams going on multiple runs throughout the game. Bethel ended the first half with a seven point lead. However, Kuyper got hot from three in the second half, and had a 6 point lead at one point in the second half. However, turnovers and blown defensive assignments plagued the Cougars down the stretch. 

Corey Pritchett led the Cougars with 23 points on 7 made threes. He also added 7 rebounds. James Weaver filled the stat-sheet with 19 points, 7 rebounds, and 9 assists. Christian Stokes added 15 points and 6 rebounds for the Cougars. A'Mari Stephens finished with 14 points.
