The Kuyper College JV - Purple team traveled to Dubuque, IA and Emmaus Bible College, along with Kuyper's Men's and Women's Basketball teams, for a weekend road trip. They played Faith Baptist Bible College JV on Friday evening, where the Eagles defeated the Cougars in OT by a score of 89-78. 

This game was a highly competitive game with multiple lead changes. Kuyper was up 1 at the half. Late in the second half, Faith Baptist Bible built up a bit of a lead. However, Terrance Murphy hit a deep three to cut the lead late, and then made the game-tying lay-up as time expired to force overtime. 

The Cougars ran out of gas in overtime, leading to a loss. 

Terrance Murphy led the way with 26 points and 6 rebounds. Ashtyn Simerson added 22 points and 7 rebounds. Antwann Woods grabbed a team-high 17 rebounds, and Ryan Patterson grabbed 10 boards. 

Kuyper JV - Purple moves to 2-9 on the year with the loss. They will return to action after Christmas break.
