The Kuyper College Men's Basketball team lost to Judson University on Wednesday evening by a score of 94-79. It was a road game for the Cougars, as they traveled down to Elgin, Illinois. Judson is a member of the NAIA, as well as NCCAA I. 

Judson took an early lead in the game, but the Cougars continued to compete. Judson was up 46-30 at the half. They ended up winning the game by 15 over the Cougars. Kuyper struggled to slow down Judson's offense, and that proved to be the difference in the game. Judson shot nearly 60% from the field for the game, as they finished 38-66 (57.6%). Kuyper shot an efficient 45.2% from the field, but it was not enough to keep up with the Eagles. 

Elisha Searcy led Kuyper in scoring, as he finished with 18 points, 3 assistsm and 3 steals. He shot 4/7 from three. Danyel Bibbs added 14 points, 5 rebounds, and 4 assists. Sam Dillard poured in 10 points for Kuyper. Latrell Jennings neared a double-double, as he finished with 9 points and 12 rebounds. 

Kuyper moves to 6-9 on the season with Wednesday's loss to Judson. Kuyper will take on two NCAA D2 teams this weekend, as they travel to Saginaw Valley State University on Saturday and Lake Superior State University on Sunday. Both of those games will be exhibition games.
