The Kuyper Developmental - Purple team avenged their two previous losses to Great Lakes Christian, as the Cougars defeated the Crusaders 53-43 in the consolation round of the 2024 Cougar Classic JV Tournament. The Cougars were up 4 at the halftime break, and stifling defense in the second half allowed them to extend their lead and secure the win to close out their season. 

Developmental - Purple was led by Corey Pritchett, who finished with 12 points and 7 rebounds. Rylee Carter finished with 11 points and 5 rebounds. Grady Schippers added 10 points for the Cougars. JT Foster neared a double-double with 9 points and 8 rebounds. Terrance Murphy led the Cougars with 7 assists. 

Corey Pritchett was named to the 2024 Cougar Classic All-Tournament Team for his excellent play this weekend.
