The Kuyper College Men's Soccer team lost to undefeated Adrian College on Wednesday night by a score of 1-0. The Cougars were in a defensive battle with the Bulldogs, but they were unable to find the back of the net and tie or take the lead. Kuyper went into the halftime break tied at 0-0, but Adrian scored the game-winning goal in the 49th minute. Once Adrian gained control of the lead, they never looked back.Â
Adrian limited Kuyper's ability to get going offensively. Kuyper finished the evening with 3 shots on goal, while Adrian logged 7 of them.
Ian Ramirez was in the net for much of the match for the Cougars, and he finished the night with 5 saves.Â
Kuyper moves to 0-4 on the season, and they will travel to Grace Christian University on Friday for a rivalry matchup. The rivalry match will mark Kuyper's first match against an NCCAA opponent on the season.Â
