Box Score Kuyper College's Men's Soccer program traveled across town on Friday afternoon to take on Grace Christian University. Grace Christian, fellow Midwest Region member, is currently ranked #3 in the nation. Kuyper and Grace tied 1-1 in today's rivalry matchup. 

Kuyper and Grace Christian went back and forth for much of the game, with both teams playing hard and getting good looks at the net. The two teams went into the halftime break scoreless, despite each having a few good scoring opportunities. However, early in the second half, Blessing Tarpeh found the back of the net for Kuyper. This gave the Cougars their first lead of the season. The Cougars held a 1-0 lead for a good chunk of the second half, but a foul in the box led to a penalty kick opportunity for the Tigers. Grace converted on the penalty kick, tying the match. Neither team was able to break the tie, and the match finished 1-1. 

Kuyper moves to 0-4-1 on the year. They will look to get their first win of the season on Saturday, where they will host Maranatha Baptist University at 12:00pm. The match will be played at Northpointe Christian High School.
