The Kuyper College Volleyball team hosted crosstown rival, Grace Christian University, on Tuesday evening for an NCCAA Midwest Regional matchup. The Tigers defeated the Cougars in three sets. The Cougars and Tigers played in late August, and the Tigers won 3-0. 

Kuyper started out a couple of sets strong behind some good energy from the home crowd, but they struggled to maintain that level of play throughout each set. Grace Christian was able to extend their lead to a comfortable one in each set, and Kuyper was unable to counter. 

Addisyn Headworth led the Cougars with 7 kills. Angelita Ledesma led to many of Headworth's assists, as Ledesma finished the evening with 9 assists. Angelita Ledesma and Lillie Golm each finished with 3 digs.

Kuyper moves to 0-13 on the year and 0-6 in the NCCAA II. They will travel to Illinois on Friday to take on Trinity Christian College at 7:00pm ET.
