The Kuyper College JV - Purple team lost on Tuesday afternoon at Great Lakes Christian College JV. The Crusaders defeated the Cougars 90-76.

The match-up was a tale of two halves, as the Cougars carried a lead into the halftime break. However, Kuyper was unable to keep up their momentum, and Great Lakes took the lead and never looked back. 

Kuyper was limited to 37.3% from the field and 24.2% from three. Great Lakes and their defensive pressure gave the Cougars trouble as well, as they turned it over 18 times. 

Terrance Murphy led the Cougars with 24 points and 6 assists. Topher Allen notched double figures, as he scored 11 points. Ashtyn Simerson added 9 points and 8 rebounds.
