The Kyuper College Women's Basketball team dropped a road game to Great Lakes Christian College on Tuesday by a score of 59-51. This was the first matchup of the year between the Cougars and the Crusaders. They will play at Kuyper again in February. 

The Cougars and Crusaders played a back and forth game for much of the contest, and the Crusaders made a late run to extend their lead and close out the game. 

The Cougars lost the turnover battle 18-11, which hurt them a close game like this. 

Jakya Rimpson and Brynne Johnson led the way with 12 points each. Rimpson grabbed 9 rebounds, and Johnson grabbed 7 for Kuyper. Zyona Talley scored a season-high 10 points on 5-9 shooting from the field as well. 

Kuyper drops to 8-10 on the year with the Regional loss, and they will take on Maranatha Baptist University in a rematch next Saturday.
