Kuyper College JV - Black traveled south to the Chicago area for a pair of games with Dayspring Bible College in late November. The Cougars earned their first win of the season on Friday, November 21st, as they defeated Dayspring Bible College by a final score of 89-84.Â
This game was highly competitive throughout, and the Cougars were able to find a way to win down the stretch. The game was tied 40-40 at half, and the Cougars went on to win by 5.
Kameron Hairston led JV - Black with 24 points.
Deonte Bibbs poured in 20 points as well.
Omari Peak and
Kayven Medley each scored double-figures as well, as Peak finished with 15 points, 5 rebounds, and 6 assists, while Medley finished with 14 points and 7 rebounds.
Christopher Marshall had a big game for the Cougars as well, as he had 8 points and a team-high 11 rebounds.Â
