The Kuyper College JV - Purple team defeated Grace Christian University JV on Thursday evening by a score of 86-81. This was the second matchup of the year between these teams, with Grace Christian winning the first game. 

Kuyper got huge performances from Terrance Murphy and Chad Jacobs. Jacobs and Murphy each scored 25 points and 7 rebounds. Ryan Patterson added a double double of 11 points and 14 rebounds, and Joey Taylor also finished with a double-double of 10 points and 16 rebounds. 

The Cougars improved to 3-14 on the year with the win. They will take on Kuyper College JV - Gold on Tuesday evening at 8:00pm ET.
