The Kuyper College JV - Purple team lost in the quarterfinals of the 2025 Cougar Classic JV Tournament on Friday afternoon, as they lost to Community Christian College JV. The Cougars lost to the Lions 82-65. 

The Cougars really struggled with the pressure from the Lions, as they finished with 33 turnovers on the day. 

The Cougars were led by Terrance Murphy, who scored 18 points and grabbed 7 rebounds. Antwann Woods had a big double-double with 15 points and 16 rebounds. Chad Jacobs scored 10 points. Ryan Patterson added 9 points and 9 rebounds. 

JV - Purple is set to take on JV - Gold in the consolation round on Saturday.
