Kuyper JV - Purple lost on Tuesday evening in their first action of the New Year, as they lost 73-68 to Community Christian JV.

Community Christian jumped out to an early lead, and they went into the halftime break up 11. However, Kuyper responded and gave the Cougars the lead. However, Community Christian made a few more plays down the stretch, and the Cougars ended up losing a close one. 

Terrance Murphy and Ryan Patterson led the way for Kuyper. Murphy stuffed the stat sheet with 24 points, 7 rebounds, and 6 assists. Ryan Patterson added 12 points and a team-high 21 rebounds. Matt Ritter added 9 points to Kuyper's effort.

JV - Purple dropped to 3-12 on the season with the loss.
