The Kuyper College Volleyball team dropped two matches on Saturday in a tri-match at Lake Michigan College (Berrien Springs, MI). The Cougars played Lake Michigan College and Southwestern Michigan College, two junior colleges in Michigan, this weekend. The Cougars lost the first match of the tri-match on Saturday to Lake Michigan College in three sets. The Cougars lost the sets by scores of 14-25, 12-25, 15-25. 

Jada Munro led the Cougars with 6 kills on the match. Addisyn Headworth added 5 kills to the team's effort. Angelita Ledesma set up the hitters throughout the match, as she had 14 assists. Kelsey Quiggin and Angelita Ledesma each had two aces for Kuyper. Jada Munro led the Cougars with 11 digs in the match. 

In the afternoon, the Cougars lost to Southwestern Michigan College in three sets as well. The scores of each set were 13-25, 6-25, 22-25. 

Jada Munro led the Cougars in kills again, as she had 9 kills. Kelsey Quiggin added 7 kills for the Cougars. Angelita Ledesma led the Cougars with 18 assists. Addisyn Headworth had an impressive 4 aces on the match. 

The two losses this weekend move the Cougars to 3-16 on the season. The Cougars have two matches this week, including a pivotal NCCAA match at Boyce College (Kentucky) on Tuesday. The second match of the week will be an exhibition match at Dayspring Bible College (Illinois) on Saturday.
