The Kuyper College Developmental - Gold team lost on Monday night at home to Trine University. The final score of the game was 83-98. 

Kuyper was able to get a lead early in the game, but the momentum shifted to Trine shortly after. Trine was able to get the lead to double digits a couple of times in the first half. However, the Cougars did not fold, as they were able to end the first half on a run and go into the halftime break with just a 2 point deficit. Much of this momentum shift was jumpstarted by prolific shooting from Dior Partee, who had 18 points in the first half. 

Trine turned up the energy in the second half and were able to balloon the lead to double digits. Kuyper was unable to climb back into the game. 

Kuyper was led in scoring by Rylee Carter, who had a very efficient 22 points on the evening (9-13 FGs). Dior Partee added 20 points to the Cougars' effort. Ethan Siebert added 8 points and 8 rebounds, and Javrius Gordon had 8 points and 7 rebounds. 

Kuyper Developmental - Gold moves to 0-3 on the season. 

The team is off to Ankeny, Iowa later this week to take on Faith Baptist Bible College on Saturday.
