The final score was 57-73. <br /> <br /> It was another great atmosphere at Boonstra Gymnasium, and the crowd's energy continued to show up when the Cougars would make runs and cut the Crusaders' lead. The Cougars were able to cut the lead to single digits with 4 minutes left, but were unable to close the lead any further. <br /> <br /> Kuyper was led in scoring by freshman Austin Kohlman. Kevon Hess and Brady Thompson added 11 points and 10 points to the effort for the Cougars. Jakob Rodriguez led Kuyper with 8 rebounds. Zamire Jackson and Brady Thompson each added 6 rebounds. <br /> <br /> The Cougars struggled tonight from the field and from the three-point line. They were able to secure 10 steals and 11 offensive rebounds to help keep them in the game. <br /> <br /> This moves Kuyper Developmental - Black to 0-1 on the season. They return to action on November 10th, where they will take on Dayspring Bible College at home.
