The Kuyper College Developmental Purple dropped a tough one on Monday night at Cornerstone University. The final score of the game was 68-90. The Cougars were down by 12 at half, but a low-scoring second half for the Cougars caused their deficit to balloon. 

Kuyper was led in scoring by freshman guard, Rylee Carter. Carter pured in 19 points for the Cougars. Terrance Murphy had 12 points and 7 rebounds for Kuyper. Kaleb Gardner hit 3 three-pointers on the evening, finishing with a total of 10 points. 

The Cougars were unable to get things rolling on the offensive end vs. the Golden Eagles, as they shot 36.5% from the field and 22.2% from 3. Kuyper did do a good job of taking care of the ball, as they only had 9 turnovers on the evening. 

Developmental Purple moves to 1-1 on the season with Monday's loss. They return to action on Thursday with a game at Hope College at 5:00pm.
