The Kuyper College Women's Volleyball team competed in a tri-match on Saturday at Justice College in Glendale, Arizona. The Cougars played Justice College and then West Coast Baptist College.
Kuyper lost each of the matches, but they continued to compete hard and stick together throughout each match. Kuyper lost to Justice College on Saturday morning 3-0. In that match, 
Addisyn Headworth led the way with 6 kills and 5 digs. 
Angelita Ledesma led the Cougars with 10 assists on the day. 
Aniya Fisher added 3 aces and 4 digs. 
In the second match, Kuyper lost to West Coast Baptist College, also by a score of 3-0. The first set of the match was back and forth, but the Cougars eventually lost the set 25-21. After losing the close first set, West Coast Baptist carried over the momentum and took the final two sets of the match. Against West Coast Baptist, Addisny Headworth logged 5 kills and 4 digs. 
Angelita Ledesma had an impressive outing, as she finished with 5 kills, 9 assists, and 9 digs. 
Catherine Cone finished with 6 digs for Kuyper. 
Kuyper moves to 0-22 on the year with the losses. They will host Aquinas College on Friday, October 18th, at 4:00.
