Kuyper College JV - Black traveled to Detroit on Monday evening for a road match-up with Community Christian College. The Cougars lost to Community Christian JV by a score of 86-79. The game was a close game throughout, with Community Christian taking a 4 point lead into the halftime break. Kuyper and Community Christian went back and forth in the second half, but the Cougars were unable to make enough plays down the stretch to secure the win. 

Kuyper was led by Kevin Strait, who finished with 16 points and 7 assists. Omari Peark added 3 points. Wil TeWinkle, LJ McCullough, and Corbin Heckman each reached double-figures in scoring as well. Heckman led the Cougars with 9 rebounds. 

Kuyper JV - Black moves to 1-1 on the year. They will travel to Northwood University on Thursday, November 14th, for a 6:30pm game.
