Kuyper College JV - Black got a nice road win over Northwood JV this past Thursday. The Cougars defeated the Timberwolves by a score of 82-78. This was a nice bounce back win for JV - Black, after they dropped a road game last week to Community Christian JV. 

The Cougars flourished on offense in this game, as they shot 50.7% from the field and a scorching 54.5% from three. The Cougars carried a 43-32 lead into the halftime break, and they were able to hold on in the second half to win the game. 

Corbin Heckman led the Cougars with an impressive 22 point, 11 rebound double-double. Heckman shot an impressive 10-16 from the field. LJ McCullough added 21 points and 7 rebounds to the Cougars' effort. Kevin Strait added 10 points and a team-high 3 steals. 

Kuyper JV - Black moves to 2-1 on the year with the win. Their next game will take place on November 22nd, where the Cougars will take on Campbellsville University-Harrodsburg JV at Welch College. All three Kuyper JV teams will be traveling to Nashville for 2 games each this weekend.
