The Kuyper College JV - Black team traveled to Nashville, Tennessee this weekend to play two games in a JV Invitational, hosted by Welch College. The Cougars faced Campbellsville University Harrodsburg JV on Friday evening, and the Cougars fell to the Pioneers by a score of 88-70. 

The game was close throughout, but Harrodsburg ran away with the game at the end. 

Corbin Heckman led the way for the Cougars with 22 points and 7 rebounds. LJ McCullough logged a double-double, scoring 14 points and grabbing 11 rebounds. Kevin Strait got in double figures scoring as well, as he finished with 10 points. Dylan Walsh and Kanin Gerding each grabbed 8 rebounds for Kuyper. 

The Cougars moved to 2-2 on the year with the loss. They take on Asbury University in the second game of the JV Invitational on Saturday.
