The Kuyper College Women's Basketball team defeated Grace Christian University on Tuesday night by a score of 75-42. This was a cross-town rivalry between Grace Christian and Kuyper. The teams played for the Cross Cup trophy, which the Cougars won last year. With the win, the Cross Cup trophy will stay on the campus of Kuyper College for another year.Â
The Cougars got out to an early lead in this one, and they never looked back. The Cougars led wire-to-wire.Â

Couper Agema led the Cougars in this one, as she finished with 17 points, 7 assists, and 6 steals.
Jakya Rimpson logged a double-double for Kuyper, as she finished with 13 points and 12 rebounds.
Abigail Rivera-Sosa and
Brynne Johnson each scored in double-figures as well for Kuyper.Â
Kuyper moves to 2-4 on the year with the win and 1-0 in the NCCAA II. The Cougars are headed to Ankeny, Iowa for the Faith Classic this weekend. They will play two big NCCAA II games, as they will take on Faith Baptist Bible College on Friday evening and Manhattan Christian College on Saturday morning.Â
