The Kuyper College Women's Basketball team wrapped up their season-opening Florida trip on Saturday afternoon with a narrow loss to New College of Florida. The final score was 59-50. 

Kuyper and New College of Florida were tied 23-23 at the halftime break, but New College of Florida took control in the second half. Turnovers proved to be a big difference in the game, as the Cougars committed 20 turnovers to New College of Florida's 14 turnovers. In a close game, those missed opportunities were too much to handle for Kuyper. 

Jakya Rimpson led the way for Kuyper with 12 points. Abigail Rivera-Sosa had an efficient 10 points on 5-7 shooting, while also grabbing 6 rebounds. Couper Agema finished with 7 points and 11 rebounds.

Kuyper moves to 0-2 to start the year. Their next game is November 9th at 1:00pm, where they will host Calumet College of St. Joseph for Kuyper's Homecoming.
