The Kuyper College Men's Basketball team lost to Goshen College on Wednesday afternoon by a score of 113-95. It was a road game for the Cougars. 

Kuyper fell behind early in the game, and Goshen never looked back. Kuyper really struggled to get stops on the defensive end, and this made it tough for the Cougars. Goshen shot a scorching 57.4% from the field and 56.5% from three. In contrast, the Cougars shot 48.6% from the field and 41.7% from three. Kuyper just did not get enough defensive stops to win the game. 

Goshen took a 61-37 lead into the halftime break. Kuyper played better in the second half, outscoring the Maple Leafs by 6, but it was not enough to secure the win. 

Danyel Bibbs led the Cougars with 29 points on 11-18 shooting. He was 3-5 from three. Bibbs also finished with 6 rebounds and 5 assists on the day. Sam Dillard added an efficient 14 points for Kuyper. Herman Brown and Jacob May each reached double figures with 10 points and 7 points. 

The Cougars move to 0-2 on the year with the loss. They return home on Friday, November 8th, where they will host Calumet College of St. Joseph at 7:00pm.
