The Kuyper College Men's Basketball team lost their home opener of the season on Friday night to Calumet College of St. Joseph. The final score was 85-53. 

Calumet jumped out to an early lead in this one behind some hot three-point shooting and stifling defense. Kuyper never got going offensively, making it a tough game for the Cougars. The Crimson Wave limited the Cougars to just 24.2% from the field and 11.8% from three. Kuyper turned the ball over 16 turnovers times. 

Sam Dillard led the Cougars with 10 points. Jeremiah Jolliffi neared a double-double with 7 points and 10 rebounds. Dannyel Bibbs added 8 points, 6 rebounds, and 4 assists. Latrell Jennings grabbed 8 rebounds. 

Kuyper moves to 0-3 on the year. They take on Michigan-Dearborn on Saturday afternoon at 3:00pm ET.
