The Kuyper College Men's Basketball team defeated Emmaus Bible College on Saturday afternoon by a score of 94-68. The Cougars defeated Faith Baptist Bible College on Friday evening, and they were able to turn around and get their second win of the road trip on Saturday. This was a big game for the Cougars, as it is an NCCAA II Midwest Regional match up.Â
The Cougars led the game throughout, as their offense was high-powered in this one. Kuyper took care of the ball, as they finished with just 9 turnovers, and they earned extra possessions by grabbing 14 offensive rebounds.Â
Damion Cochran led the Cougars with 18 points and 7 rebounds.
Danyel Bibbs added 17 points to the Cougars' effort on an efficient 7/10 from the field.
Jacob May added 10 points. 14 Cougars got in the game, and each of them scored.Â
Kuyper got a great team effort in this one. The Cougars move to 6-8 on the year with the win and 3-2 on the year in the NCCAA II. On Wednesday, the Cougars will travel to Elgin, IL to take on Judson University. The game will tip-off at 8:00pm ET.Â
