The Kuyper College JV - Black team traveled just down East Beltline to take on Calvin University JV on Wednesday evening. The Cougars lost to the Knights by a score of 111-63. Calvin jumped out to an early lead and never looked back. 

Kuyper shot just 31.9% from the field and 23.7% from three. In contrast, Calvin shot a scorching 51.4% from the field and 45.7% from three. Calvin also outrebounded Kuyper by nearly 20 boards. 

Kevin Strait led Kuyper with 16 points. LJ McCullough earned another double-double, as he scored 11 points and grabbed 10 rebounds. William DeBlake and Wil TeWinkle each scored double digits for the Cougars as well. 

Kuyper JV - Black moves to 3-8 on the year with the loss, and they will return to game action after Christmas Break.
