Box Score The Kuyper College JV - Gold team traveled to Nashville, Tennessee and Welch College for a JV Invitational on Friday and Saturday. The Cougars opened the invitational with a neutral site game against Asbury University JV. The Cougars defeated Asbury 79-70 to open their road trip. This win extends the Cougars win streak to two games, as they are coming off a rivalry win over Grace Christian University JV. 

Kuyper's defense was able to force Asbury into 20 turnovers on the day, which the Cougars were able to capitalize on in transition. Kuyper got a very balanced scoring attack in this one. James Weaver, Christian Stokes, and Kevon Hess each led the Cougars with 16 points. Corey Pritchett added 14 points and 5 rebounds to the Cougars' effort. Zamire Jackson scored 11 points, and he added 6 rebounds and 6 assists. Zamire Jackson and Kevon Hess each had nice games for the Cougars in their return to Tennessee, as they are each from there. 

Kuyper JV - Gold moves to 3-4 on the year with the win, and they will take on Welch College JV on Saturday afternoon.
