The Kuyper College JV - Black team defeated Asbury University JV on Saturday by a score of 82-54. This win comes off of a tough loss to Campbellsville University Harrodsburg on Friday evening. 

The Cougars led by just 3 at half, but a second-half Cougars' avalanche led to a big win. Kuyper was very balanced in this one, with all 10 players scoring. Corbin Heckman led the way with an efficient 15 points and 5 rebounds. Zavion Russ added 13 points and 4 assists. LJ McCullough finished with 12 points and 7 rebounds for the Cougars. Wil TeWinkle and William DeBlake each reached double-figures for Kuyper, scoring 11 points and 10 points. 

Kuyper moves to 3-2 on the year with the win. They will return to action with another Invitational this upcoming weekend, where they will take on two JUCO teams. The Cougars will take on Grand Rapids Community College on Saturday and Montcalm Community College on Sunday.
