The Kuyper JV - Black team lost to Spring Arbor University JV at home on Monday by a score of 73-68. 

The game was close from wire-to-wire. Kuyper led 35-34 at the halftime break, but Spring Arbor made a few more plays and got a couple more stops than Kuyper down the stretch in order to secure the win. 

Omari Peak led Kuyper with 10points. LJ McCullough scored 16 points and grabbed 9 rebounds. Kevin Strait also scored in double figures, finishing with 11 points, 6 rebounds and 5 assists. Wil TeWinkle grabbed 8 rebounds for Kuyper.

The Cougars moved to 3-5 with the loss and will take on Kuyper College JV - Purple in a rematch on Wednesday afternoon.
