The Kuyper College JV - Purple team dropped a home game on Saturday afternoon to Kennedy Collegiate Prep Institute by a score of 102-73. Kennedy Prep defeated all three Cougars JV teams this weekend. 

Kuyper shot the ball extremely well in the first half, but that shooting fell off in the second half. Kuyper went into the halftime break down 44-41, and the game had countless lead changes in the first half. Kuyper started the game 5 for 5 from three, but in the second half, they shot just 1 for 12 from behind the arc. 

Kuyper was led by Terrance Murphy, who finished with 23 points. Antwann Woods finished with another impressive double-double, as he scored 18 points and grabbed a team-high 13 rebounds. Ryan Patterson added 10 points to the Cougars' effort. Eli Buckner finished with 9 points on 3 made threes.

Kuyper JV - Purple moves to 2-8 on the year with the loss. They will travel to Dubuque, Iowa this upcoming weekend to take on Faith Baptist Bible College at Emmaus Bible College.
