The Kuyper College Women's Basketball team lost a road game to Miami University Hamilton on Saturday afternoon by a score of 83-57. The Cougars struggled to slow down the Harriers' high-powered offense in this one. Kuyper sent the Harriers to the free throw line 22 times in this one. They made 19 of those 22 free throws.Â
Turnovers were an issue for the Cougars as well. The Harriers turned the Cougars over 17 times in this one. The Harriers carried 15 point lead into the halftime break, and they ended up winning comfortably.Â
Jakya Rimpson led the Cougars with 17 points on an efficient 8-10 shooting from the field.
Aniya Fisher added 16 points, 9 rebounds, and 5 assists for Kuyper.
Maria Sobany also reached double-figures, scoring 10 points and grabbing 5 rebounds.Â
The Cougars move to 3-6 on the year with the loss. They will travel to Iowa this weekend to take on Faith Baptist Bible College and Emmaus Bible College.
