The Kuyper College Men's Basketball team fell short on Tuesday evening at Great Lakes Christian College. The Cougars lost to the Crusaders 69-82 on Tuesday night. This matchup was a rematch, as the Cougars defeated the Crusaders back on January 17th. 

The game was back and forth for much of the contest, but Great Lakes went on a nice run in the middle of the second half to extend the lead and secure the victory. Kuyper had an early lead for much of the first half, but Great Lakes went on a run to close the first half and take a 5 point lead into the halftime break. Kuyper got into early foul trouble as a team in the second half, giving the Crusaders many free throw attempts. Great Lakes shot 21/30 from the free throw line on the night. Turnvoers proved to be a difference in this one, as the Crusaders' full-court pressure led to 17 turnovers for Kuyper. 

Kuyper was led by Herman Brown, who finished with 15 points, 5 rebounds, 10 assists, and 4 blocks. Danyel Bibbs added 12 points, 5 rebounds, and 9 assists. Elisha Searcy finished with 11 points. Austin Stone had 10 points and 5 blocks on the evening. Damion Cochran added 13 points off the bench for the Cougars. 

With the loss, the Cougars move to 18-7 on the year and 14-4 in the NCCAA II. Kuyper travels to Watertown, WI this weekend for a Saturday game with Midwest Regional opponent, Maranatha Baptist University.
