JV Basketball Adds Siena Heights Transfer Kyle Jarosch

The Kuyper College JV Basketball program signed Kyle Jarosch on Friday. Jarosch is a 6'5 forward from Cedar Springs, MI. Jarosch graduated from Cedar Springs High School in 2022. Jarosch attended and played basketball at Siena Heights University for two years before transferring to Kuyper. Kyle, the son of Gena and Chris Jarosch, brings valuable collegiate basketball experience to the JV basketball program at Kuyper. Jarosch is a versatile forward who can stretch the floor by making perimeter shots, and he is a high-level passer and screener at the forward position.

Jarosch was ranked as a top 50 senior in Michigan when he was at Cedar Springs. Additionally, Prep Hoops ranked him as the 232nd best player in Michigan amongst all grades as a senior. At Siena Heights, he averaged 7 points and 7 rebounds per game with their JV program. As previously stated, Kyle will be able to mentor and guide younger players here at Kuyper about the ways of college basketball, as he has already been playing at the collegiate level for two seasons. Kyle will be able to immediately impact the Kuyper program as a versatile, play-making forward.

Before heading to Siena Heights, Jarosch played AAU Basketball with the West Michigan Lakers, a high-level AAU program in the West Michigan area.

As a student, Kyle intends to study Sports Management at Kuyper.

When asked about what makes him most excited about coming to Kuyper, Jarosch said, "I can't wait to help Kuyper grow into a premier basketball team. I am bringing over previous experience and look to help lead the team with my ability to stretch the floor."

Head Coach Tyler Whitcomb is excited about adding a player of Kyle's versatility to the fold. About Kyle, Coach Whitcomb said, "We are excited to add a great leader on and off the court. He is a good stretch 4 that can really knock down shots. We an't wait to work with him."

Congratulations to Kyle Jarosch on signing on to become a Kuyper Cougar!
