The Kuyper College Women's Basketball team defeated Community Christian College on Saturday afternoon by a score of 79-42. The win was a big one for the Cougars, as they extended their win streak to four consecutive games, tying the second longest win streak in school history. 

The Cougars won each quarter in this one, going into the halftime break with a 34-19 lead. Kuyper turned to early full-court pressure, as well as transition offense, to build their lead. Additionally, Kuyper shot the ball at a very high level from three, as they made 13 threes on 29 attempts (44.8%). All 8 Cougars scored 4 points or more in this one, so it was a very balanced effort.

Couper Agema led the way with 14 points, 13 rebounds, and 6 assists. She made four threes on the day to go along with her third career double-double. 13 rebounds tied a career-high for Agema. Brynne Johnson added 13 points and 7 rebounds for the Cougars. Maria Sobany filled the stat sheet as well, as she logged 12 points, 7 rebounds, and 8 assists. Abigail Rivera-Sosa and Jakya Rimpson each scored double-figures for Kuyper as well. Kylah Buggs scored a career-high 9 points to go along with a career-high 7 rebounds. 

Kuyper improves to 8-9 on the year with the win. The Cougars will look to get a big win over Great Lakes Christian College on Tuesday at 5:00pm. The game will be played on the campus of Great Lakes Christian College in Lansing, MI.
