The Kuyper College JV - Purple team lost on Thursday night to Cornerstone University JV by a score of 95-79. Cornerstone had the lead for much of the game, as their rebounding prowess propelled them to victory. Kuyper surrendered 20 offensive rebounds. 

Kuyper was led by Terrance Murphy, who finished with 26 points and 5 rebounds. Joey Taylor added 18 points, 6 rebounds, and 5 assists. Ashtyn Simerson scored 13 points and grabbed 6 rebounds. 

Kuyper JV - Purple moves to 2-11 on the year with the loss. The Cougars will travel to Lansing, MI on Tuesday to take on Great Lakes Christian College at 3:00pm.
