The Kuyper College Volleyball team lost two matches on Saturday to Alice Lloyd College. The Cougars lost each match in three sets to the Eagles. The Cougars and Eagles played earlier this season, where the Eagles defeated the Cougars twice, both in four sets. 

In the first match, the Cougars lost the first set 25-18. In the second set, the Cougars lost 25-12. In the third and final set, the Eagles defeated the Cougars 25-15. 

Aliyah Garner led the Cougars with 9 kills. Catherine Cone led Kuyper with 13 digs. Trina Nelson led the way with 15 assists. 

In the second match, the Eagles controlled throughout, but Kuyper showed a great competitive spirit. The Cougars forced the second set to a narrow 26-24 win for Alice Lloyd. 

Aliyah Garner led the way again with 11 kills. Rachel Romero led with 14 digs. Trina Nelson logged 16 assists. 

Kuyper falls to 3-16 on the year with the losses.
