The Kuyper College Men's Basketball program defeated Oak Hills Christian College on Friday evening by a score of 97-90. This was the second game of the year for the Cougars, as they defeated Free Lutheran Bible College on Thursday evening.Â
The Cougars were firing on all cylinders offensively in this one, as they scored 97 total points. The Cougars scored 59 first half points. On the evening, they shot 54.7% from the field, 40.0% from three, and 81.0% from the free throw line. The Cougars had six players score in double figures.Â
Nick Moore led the way with 17 points on 5-8 FGs.
Sam Dillard finished the night with a double-double, as he poured in 16 points and grabbed 14 rebounds.
Joe Iung scored 16 points as well for the Cougars.
Nic Yorke added 15 points, while
Latrell Jennings and
Austin Stone each scored in double figures as well.
Austin Stone led the Cougars with 6 assists.Â
The Cougars move to 2-0 on the season with the win.
